Over the Christmas Break, the boys and girls bathrooms on the second floor were refinished, redecorated and repainted by OLV eighth graders from Girl Scout Troop 64716, Julie and Izzy Kay, Lily Wickstrom, and Addy McCrohan, as they worked to earn their Silver Award. We are very grateful for their outstanding work under the supervision of troop leaders, Mrs. McCrohan and Mrs. Kay. The girls spent over forty hours of their vacation time taping, priming, painting, cleaning and decorating the bathrooms. Soon they will add shelves, decals and other accoutrements, creating clean and comfortable bathrooms for their fellow students. 

We are also grateful for the help and support from their parents, Julia Colonero, Reese Hendricks, Bella Lima, Mr. Flick, Helen and Dennis Kay, Social Perspectives, Koopman Lumber, Abbie, Sophie and Maddie Kay and Andy Smith. Great job, everyone! The bathrooms look brand new, and we look forward to additional repairs and features.
