The curriculum at Our Lady of the Valley is infused with technology.  Direct instruction in the use of computer programs and tablet applications begins in PreK and is offered through Grade 4.  Students in Grades 5-8 have access to Chromebooks to supplement the traditional curriculum throughout the day and demonstrate their learning using a variety of tools.  Our Lady of the Valley has a designated Maker Space that is well stocked with materials needed to promote creative problem solving and collaborative activities. All grades participate in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) focused activities as a part of the curriculum, with grades 5 and 6 participating in a weekly STEAM Lab and grades 7 and 8 engaging in STEAM activities three times weekly.  In addition to our dedication to using technology as a supplementary tool, most of our middle grade text books are online and can be accessed at school or at home on all devices.
